Good news, here – almost every car has central locking and power steering these days. Also, they’ve been standard fit on most superminis (Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, SEAT Ibiza, Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208, Toyota Yaris etc) for many, many years, so you should have a huge choice of second-hand vehicles to go for. Most manufacturers will offer an automatic option on their B-segment cars and, from the list above, it’s always hard to ignore the Ford Fiesta, which has long been a superb vehicle.
