Looking for first car for €4,000.
Hi there. My name is ciaran Byrne. I’m a 37 year old first time driver looking to buy my first car. I’m looking for something around the 4K mark with a less powerful engine, to hopefully lessen my insurance. I’m working full time in graphic design. I’ve got a full license and am single (no wife or children) Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Your age will help with insurance but you’re still a first-time buyer, so you’re right – you need something with a small engine. Your budget would allow for a decent 2008 or 2009 Toyota Yaris, with something like 130,000- to 180,000km showing on the clock.
