Looking for a vehicle with a decent wading depth...
Hi, I live in an area prone to flooding and I am looking to acquire a vehicle with a decent wading depth as it is only the roads either side of my entrance that experience issues. Thankfully my house has never flooded. I am looking for a vehicle that I could tax privately as I would not qualify to tax it commercially. Obviously I and looking for the cheapest option but also conscious of it’s capabilities. Is there a particular vehicle that would suit my needs? Thank you.

Without knowing your budget it's impossible to suggest specific models, but undoubtedly you'll need an SUV or off-roader of some description. Search the Carzone database by putting in your budget and see what comes up, then you can search Google for the wading depth. At one end of the spectrum are cars such as the Range Rover and at the other you'll find battered old Suzuki Jimnys with aftermarket air snorkels.
