I AM LOOKING FOR A TOYOTA COROLLA NON HYBRID BRAND NEW -TRADE IN 2017 COROLLA -IF THEY HAVE SOME IN STOCK WHICH I ASSUME THEY DO HOW MUCH SHOULD IT COST FOR A NEW MODEL NO MILAGE 2019
Hi Kevin,
Well, the brand-new Toyota Corolla is going on sale in January 2019, with prices starting at €25,995 for a 116hp D4-T petrol hatchback. Your 2017 Corolla is worth anything between €17,000 and €22,000 on the open market, depending on its spec, engine, mileage and condition. To that end, assuming you own the 2017 Corolla and taking the lower prices you’ll be offered as a trade in on your car (€14,000-€18,000), you’re looking at finding something like €8,000-€12,000 to trade up to the new model.
However, if you’re talking about final stocks of the outgoing four-door model, the price will be lower. The new Corolla Saloon has already been priced to start at €25,685 so if any dealers do have the odd older car still unregistered and in stock, you could probably haggle them down to around €20,000 for it, if you’re very good at bargaining. However, the www.toyota.ie website is not showing any old Corollas as being available to order, so we’re not sure if you’ll be able to do this.
