Looking for a reliable commuting car...
I'm looking for a reliable car, diesel, for around 5000. I commute to Dublin 2 to 3times a week from Dublin. Any suggestions?

If reliability if your priority, then you’ve got to go Japanese, especially at that price level. How about a Mazda3 1.6d or a Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTi? Both are comfy for long hauls, economical and very reliable. Both fit well inside your budget on a 2008-2009 plate.
