Looking for a good diesel automatic...
Looking for a diesel automatic for a daily commute on the N7/M50. Approx. 30k-35k km's per year. Budget €8 - €10k. I may emigrate in 24 months so PCP and large spend do not suit for term and depreciation reasons. Looking for low running costs, reliability and decent resale. Any suggestions?

I think your best bet is a Volkswagen Passat. I can't find any Toyota Avensis diesel autos in your budget at the moment but the Passat is comfortable, reliable, frugal and you shouldn't have any trouble selling it on again.
