I'd suggest that a car might be more comfortable and economical, but if you do want an SUV for around the €15,000 mark we'd have these comments to make:

• Hyundai Tucson: excellent car, but you can only afford either a really early example or one with lots of mileage already on the clock.
• Honda CR-V: lovely option, though not many of them around.
• Nissan Qashqai: not a bad choice, plenty on sale, good level of equipment.
• Renault Kadjar: shares its underpinnings with the Qashqai, but is better value on the used market and loads of them around - well worth a test drive.
• Toyota RAV4: rare enough at this price point, but worth seeking out.
• Volkswagen Tiguan: this is the first-gen model and it's fine - 2.0 TDI engine has plenty of go.

Most of the above are 2014-2016 cars. If you wanted something more modern, you could get into a 2018 Dacia Duster and there are smaller SUVs as well.

Based on what you've told us, I'd suggest going to test drive a few of the above to see which you prefer.
