This is an oft-asked question and a tricky one to answer. To be honest, most smaller five-seat cars struggle to get three full-sized child seats across the back bench. So, ideally, you need to try larger vehicles – the Skoda Superb Estate is worth checking out, for instance. However, realistically a seven-seat vehicle or SUV will be your best bet; try the Volvo XC60 (with five seats) or the Skoda Kodiaq or Citroen Grand C4 Picasso (seven seats), as these companies tend to focus on practicality for family owners. If budget is limited, seek out an older Toyota Previa, perhaps.
