Hello, I am disabled (I have crutches at the moment) and I cannot afford to get a new car on the Disability Scheme so it has to be z used car. (a) an Automatic, (b)Hatchback (c) boot level with no drop into it, (d) drivers seat high enough not to have to fall into it but I cannot reach up to a higher level either (e) floor level has to be on level or nearly with the door for easy access (f) door has to have a wide opening.
Hi Geraldine,
I think your best bet would be to look for something like a Nissan Note (first generation model), a Skoda Roomster, or a Hyundai ix20 — all are roomy and tall(ish) with seats that are set a little higher than a conventional hatchback's, and all have low-set boots with relatively easy loading lips. Reckon the Roomster might be your best bet overall and they are very, very affordable now, if a little thin on the ground.

Ask us anything motoring related and please provide as much information as possible so we can give you the most accurate advice.
