Looking for a €30,000 SUV.
I need an SUV that can tow 1.8tonnes at the weekend and has reason able running costs for a 30km commute. Any recommendations outside the obvious(Santa Fe/ Taracco/ Sorrento) budget is max 30k

Have you considered the BMW X3 or Audi Q5? There are diesel versions of both with all-wheel drive from between 2015 and 2017 that are within budget and can tow that weight in a braked trailer. They're quite economical, too, though with only 30km for a commute, you're probably better off in a petrol or hybrid car. Not so easy to find one of those within budget with such towing capability, however.
