Looking for a €15k petrol car...
I am looking for a petrol car. Budget €15K. I will be doing short frequent journeys so don't require a diesel as not doing long distances. I previously drove a diesel so want a bit of power in the engine but also want a comfortable car with height as I have a bad back. I don't know anything about hybrids but it has been suggested they have a but of power. Any suggestions as not seeing anything online

Getting a bit of low-down performance could be your challenge at that budget, especially when looking for something a little higher up.
A quick search in the Carzone database revealed a few options though:
1 - Citroen C4 Cactus: make sure you go for the 110hp petrol model (some have less power) and check that the timing belt has been changed and that it has had regular oil services.
2 - Honda Jazz: great quality and reliability, has upright driving position for comfort, but not a lot of performance.
3 - Hyundai ix20: high-set driving position and decent space, 1.6 petrol engined model is rare though.
4 - Mercedes B-Class: great option if you can find one with a more powerful engine.
