Most civilian MPVs – i.e. people carriers that do not start life as vans – only carry seven people, so you’ll be looking at van-based minibuses. Look up the Hyundai i800 (eight seats) or the Ford Tourneo Custom, Opel Vivaro and Volkswagen Caravelle (all nine-seat vehicles) minibuses.
