Looking at trading in my 2008 Focus.
Hey guys Looling to trade in a 2008 1.8 diesel ford focus. 200000 km on it. Any idea what it might be worth..ball park. Thinking of putting it against a sportage 2014 or 2015. Also would it be better to sell privately and buy in the UK. Prices are far better there but trying to sell off the car is a pain. Cheers

As a trade-in, your Focus should be worth around €2-3,000, but a lot of that will depend on the condition, history and which dealer you’re talking to. There can be bargains found in the UK, but tread carefully as we’re hearing a lot of reports of cars coming in with dodgy history. Only buy from a reputable source and make sure you get a history check with Cartell.ie.
