Ask us in five years — the Karoq is too new for us to know, but of course Skoda’s reputation for reliability and solidity is unimpeachable, so the omens are very good. As for powerful enough, yes it’s got plenty of grunt and the DSG gearbox isn’t a power-sapper like automatic gearboxes of the eighties, so it’s fine for pretty much all purposes.
