The mileage is reasonably high in the grand scheme of cars of all shapes and sizes, but the Mercedes C and E-Class Estates (which is what we presume you’re looking at) are premium machines that are typically used for motorway work. It may be that the car you’re interested in is a UK import or has just been used widely across Ireland in its life, and so it is showing such distance. As long as it seems to be in tip-top physical condition and has a storied history of maintenance and servicing, it will serve you well from this point on. Especially as you seem to be a lower-mileage user.
