Leon vs. Golf for economy?
hi iam thinking of my next csr and two on my hort list sre fabia 110bhp dsg and seat leon with the same engine and dsg . i have had this engine and gearbox before in a golf . mpg was 45--50 . but i have read in true mpg figures on here that they both do about 42 mpg . what is your opinion ?

Hi Fionan,
Fuel consumption is a hugely variable thing and it very much depends on your driving style, the condition of the car and, crucially, where you drive it. Generally speaking, the same engine in the Golf and the Leon will get more or less the same fuel consumption, while the Fabia would do a little better, but again it's much more about how you drive it than the car itself.
