It probably depends on where you live. The extra traction is certainly useful if you live out in the country, on roads that are often covered in rain, mud and occasionally snow and ice, but if you’re a townie, then I wouldn’t bother as not only is it more expensive to buy, it also adds to the CO2 emissions making it more expensive to tax.
