Hi Ask carzone, I am buying a motorcycle from a dealer in Northern Ireland and importing to the south, the motorcycle in question is a 2018 Ducati scrambler 803 cc with 500 miles on the clock since it was first registered in Northern Ireland in 2018 , can you please tell me if VAT and VRT is applied on import or is it exempt from VAT and only liable for VRT on import, kind regards Martin.
