Is this noise a fan?
My new skids superd has a whirring noise after I turned off the engine tonight. Just bought the new car today. Is this a fan? A bit worried as it didn’t happen earlier in the day or at least I didn’t notice

Your description does indeed make it sound as if you're talking about the cooling fan. Depending on conditions, the electrical fan and cooling system may stay operational after the engine is turned off, to prevent an increase in temperature due to heat soak. It's not unusual, but it won't happen every time either.
