
Thank you for your reply, Is there an yearly average depreciation for cars. I think this might help me towards my purchase in January.. to get better value when I go to purchase.

Not really — all models depreciate at their own rate, and there’s a huge variance across different makes and models. The standard rule of thumb, though, is that a car will lose at least 20 per cent of its original value in the first year, and between 50-60 per cent over the first three years.
