That car's engine has a timing chain. In all cars, the timing chain or belt are hidden safely behind covers that you cannot see when you open the bonnet. You can usually see the alternator belt at the very least, which is a rubber belt, and there are usually others, for the power steering and air conditioning depending on model. All of these are referred to as auxiliary belts.
