It depends how you drive it. If you take the Yaris Hybrid mostly on the motorway or long main road journeys then it's economy will suffer (as would most small cars). Drive it as it was intended - mostly around town, making as much use as possible of the batteries and electric motor - and you should see close to or better than 60mpg.
