Yes, as long as you keep it in town most of the time. Toyota has much improved the Yaris’ hybrid system, so it’s smoother, quieter and more frugal than before, but to get the best from it it needs to be kept in town and away from motorways. Other than that, it’s comfortable, roomy and very reliable.
