Yes, the Tivoli is a good budget SUV, either in its shorter five-seat format or as the seven-seat XLV. It cuts its cloth accordingly to its purchase prices, so as long as you’re not expecting Audi levels of interior finishing or refinement, it’s a good, solid car. Owners have reported a handful of niggling reliability issues with the Tivoli so far but as it was only launched in 2015 and all SsangYongs come with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, there should still be plenty of manufacturer cover on any Tivoli as yet.
