Is the Renault Fluence diesel reliable?
How much is too much mileage on a second hand Renault Fluence? I am looking at a 2011 Renault Fluence 1.5 diesel 110hp with 160,000km on the clock. Would it be reliable or a nightmare?

Hi Pat,
Probably not – the Renault 1.5 dCi engine is actually pretty robust and reliable, so the actual mileage doesn’t make a huge difference. The trick is the condition and the history. If the car has a full and complete service history and it’s been well cared for, then it should be fine. If the service history has gaps, or the car looks, sounds and feels a bit tired, then it’s probably best avoided.
