In general they're quite robust and we do like the car - so long as you plan to charge it up regularly from an external source, it makes a lot of sense. There are a few known issues such as an oil leak between the engine and gearbox, a noise from the top of the engine and another from the front suspension, but if those issues have been fixed already, or there's no evidence of them in the car you're looking at, it should be fine. Insist on a car with a full and detailed service history.
