The Nissan Patrol really is as tough as old boots, and while there are a few issues to keep an eye out for (turbo hoses pop off, rocker cover gaskets start to leak and the cam belt needs regular replacement), there’s nothing too expensive to worry about, and reliability is one of its strong points. Just remember that it’s an older design of vehicle, so even with commercial rates, it’s not going to be cheap to run. Diesel and tax costs will be significant.
