In regards to the Citroen Grand Picasso cars (and others I guess) what are the benefits of buying a model with the Blue HDi 120 engine over say the older e-HDi 115 models? What are the downsides of having the blue model - assume it's something we need to "top up" or have someone top up for us every year?
Hi Darren,
Well, it's a cleaner engine for a start. The old 115hp engine was actually pretty good on emissions, but the newer version with the AdBlue injection is cleaner. Yes, you need to top it up every once in a while, but that's the future for diesel so you may as well get used to it. On top of which, 5hp more is better than 0hp more and it's a smoother, quieter engine.
