Is The honda civic diesel good car and how good is it as I have a Honda civic 18 petrol but tax very expensive and want to. Trade up thanks fintan

Assuming it’s the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine you’re talking about, it’s brilliant. Smooth and refined (by diesel standards), but with good performance and it will easily top the 50mpg mark in daily driving. The rest of the car is pretty excellent too, so it gets a big recommend from us.
