The best and most reliable? No - the Focus is a very decent car and very well made but if it's ultimate reliability you're after, buy a Honda or a Toyota. Both the Civic 1.6 iDTEC diesel and the Auris 1.4 D-4D are roomier and more reliable long-term than a Focus. That said, the Ford is much more enjoyable than either to drive so it's down to your priorities.
