Is E class 250 coupe 2014 good buy Are there major issues in terms service repairs... Expected usage 20k per year
Hi Adam,
That E 250 will be a fine second-hand purchase, provided it has been well-maintained and is in tidy nick. Mercedes put a lot of effort into the 212-family of E-Class (2009-2016), because it was stung by criticism of the less well-regarded ‘211’ model (2003-2009). So the ‘C212’, which is what you’re looking at as an E 250 Coupe, was much more solidly built. The main issues with these E-Class cars are electrical, so check every electrical toy on it works properly. Other than that, because the E-Class was quite big and heavy, it can be hard on brakes and suspension components (particularly at the front end) so make sure it doesn’t make any odd noises in either department when you’re test-driving it.
