Is the new 161 saloon astra 1.6 diesel good car??

Hi Rhona,
The 161 Astra saloon is actually the old Astra — Opel hasn’t made a four-door version of the new Astra yet, so it’s still selling the older model alongside the new one. It’s fine, but nothing more than that. Comfy, roomy, affordable, but not very exciting.
