Yes, although there are two versions. The basic 1.2 TSI has 85hp, so is significantly less powerful than the 115hp 1.6 TDI diesel, but there is a 110hp version of the 1.2, which more or less matches the diesel. That said, the diesel has higher torque levels than the petrol, so it will always have more low-down ‘oomph.’
