Is privately taxing a van more expensive?
Is tax more expensive if the van was once commercial and now you want to tax it private. Thanks

It is usually more expensive, yes, as the scheme reverts to using the old by-engine-capacity system, which only costs less than the fixed commercial vehicle rate of €333 when the engine is 1.2 or smaller.
