Is my Santa Fe's oil use normal?
I own a 151 Santa Fe. Oil light is on again. It first happened at 27000k. Had to put in 2litres of Oil. It was 3000k off scheduled service. It is now on again at 54000. Needed 2 litres again. It is 6000k off scheduled service. Is this normal? I have never had to top up any vehicle between services. Hyundai are keeping to the line that this is perfectly normal oil consumption.

Nope, that’s pretty normal for a car to burn through one or two litres of oil between major services, especially as you seem to be putting decent mileage on it. Nothing to be concerned about, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the oil level yourself on a regular basis and not waiting for the light to come on.
