Is my Insignia's engine ok?
Hi, I have a 2009 vauxhall insignia. I was driving down the motorway and I could feel the car losing power, as I was pulling over the car died. I tried to re start and it wouldn't. I got out and looked around the car, on the passenger side there was what looked like water all over the ground. Has my engine blown? Please help thank you.

Hopefully by now you've had a mechanic look at this. Without all the details, it sounds to us that your car could have overheated. Maybe it was the head gasket. That's an expensive fix, but hopefully not terminal for the engine. There are plenty of other things it could have been of course, as that car is not known for its robustness.
