Is my Hyundai under warranty?
My 161 Hyundai Tucson grinds when shifting into 4th gear and main dealer service dept tell me there's a syncromesh problem which will cost 1200 to repair. I bought it as a used car in July 2020. Reported the fault in November 2021. Do I have any recourse to warranty? 130K km on clock.

Hi Claire,
That car should have been sold as a new car with a five-year warranty, but that would have run out earlier in 2021 than is of use to you. It's highly unlikely that any used-car warranty you received in July 2020 will have extended it, either.
By all means check with the dealer, but it doesn't sound to me as if that will be covered under warranty.
