Opel’s EcoFlex models use start-stop technology when the car is at a halt to save fuel. The simplest way to tell if yours is an EcoFlex, if there’s no badging on either its body or in the engine bay, is to drive up to red traffic lights, stop, put the car in neutral and take your foot off the clutch pedal. If the engine cuts out, you’ve got an EcoFlex model.
