Is my BMW's timing chain ok?
Hi I have a 2015 bmw 520d msport do the timing chains give problems on this model if so how many miles before it needs done . It is on 60,000 miles now

The issue you are alluding to mostly affected older versions of the same 'N47' engine, and it is claimed that, by 2014, the issue was fixed. Nonetheless, if you have any doubts about the chain in your car, bring it along to a BMW dealership for inspection. And crucial to the health of any timing chain is regular oil changes using the correct oil for the car.
