Without knowing anything about your daughter's needs in terms of economy, space, budget etc, I can say that the Yeti is a decent car I've always liked. It isn't massively more spacious in the cabin than a hatchback such as the Volkswagen Golf, but the boot is larger and many like the high-set driving position. Conversely, its extra weight and physical bulk make it less efficient than a regular car, though the 4x4 versions are really good off-road and their extra ground clearance can be useful, too.

In summary, the Yeti is a good car, but does your daughter need an SUV-style car?
