Is it a big job to change my brakes?
I got an not fail on brake lines/hose. Iv just spoken with mechanic and he started giving me the oh and ah's on what a big job it is, I'm unsure if he just trying to rip me off. Can you please advise

Without knowing precisely what needs to be changed, then it's hard for us to say. If it's just a single brake hose, then it's not a major job, but neither is it the work of five minutes. If all the hoses or the lines themselves need to be changed, then it is quite a big task - and it won't be cheap.
