Is chipping legal?
We are looking at a 180hp 7 seater vehicle, They are hard to find. We were told we could put a chip into it and it brings the power up to over 180HP, Is this illegal? I don't know much about this known as mark up?

Chipping is most certainly not illegal, but I would tread a bit carefully. Make sure that the chip is being installed by a professional firm, make sure that they’re prepared to stand over the work and that it’s a reputable company. You will also need to inform your insurers, as if you subsequently make a claim and they find out about the chip work, they may say that you’ve altered the condition of the car, and may not pay out.
