Is a Mondeo for €1,500 a good bet?
Hi I am looking at a ford mondeo saloon 220,000 klm on the clock, however one owner and full service history, Irish car for 1500 would that be a safe bet? Thanks Paul.

Hi Paul,
I’m presuming that at just €1,500 it’s well over ten years old, so at that point you have to start thinking about many major components that might need replacing. That said, the Mondeo has always been a well- built car, and if this one has a full service history (the mileage is irrelevant at this point) then that’s certainly a good sign.
