Not necessarily, no. Obviously, as any car ages it will cost more in terms of upkeep and servicing (not necessarily repairs as such), but high mileage is almost irrelevant. As long as the car has been properly cared for in the past and crucially, as long as it comes with a full and complete service history, then high mileage is nothing to worry about with most models.
