Is a cheque ok for payment?
Is a certified bank check (cheque) a guaranteed sum; should I wait until money in account before releasing the car? Should the payment method be declined? Many thanks

Read this article. We think cheques and banker’s drafts are archaic ways to pay in this day and age, and they are the most susceptible to scams. If you can politely ask the person who is trying to pay you in this way if they will do a bank transfer instead, that would be far preferable.
