Is a Beetle a good first car?
Thinking of getting my first car to learn how to drive in, my dream car is a vw beetle. Can you give me any direction on what car I should go for or any tips. Thanks lydia

A new-shape Beetle wouldn't be a bad choice at all as long as you stick to the 1.2-litre engine, which should keep insurance costs reasonably under control. That said, you'll get better value on cover if you go for something with a 1.0-litre engine. Perhaps the Volkswagen up?
