is 98,000 miles a lot in a 2015 Volvo car
Hi Brid,
Yes, it is, if it is indeed miles (are you looking at a UK import car?). That would mean it is covering nigh-on 33,000 miles a year, which is a huge amount in anyone’s book. If it is a UK car, though, this probably means it was a sales rep’s wheels, as they’re about the only profession that still covers mega-motorway miles per annum. That means the Volvo is likely to have been mechanically unstressed for much of its life (motorway driving is very easy on a car’s components) and, as long as it is the right price with a full service history, you should be safe to go for it.
