Not necessarily. Many major components are generally ‘lifed’ for about 500,000km so if the service history is full and the car seems not to have been abused or used too hard, then there should be a good bit of life left in it. Not a bad idea though to price up some of the major bits and pieces (turbos, cylinder heads, gearbox etc. etc.) and try to squirrel a bit of money away for if they do go pop.
