Insurance on an Indian licence?
Hi, I have an Indian driving license , with this license can I buy a car and will I get an insurance to drive , I am in Ireland since 6 month I tried to take the learners date but due to Covid cases they are postponing the dates If I get an insurance can I add my husband ,he also having only Indian driving license,if possible can you give me the some companies which giving insurance to buy car with other license

You can drive here for a year from date of arrival on an Indian licence, and anyone can actually buy a car, licence or not, but insurance could be an issue. I'm afraid you're going to have to ring around the insurance companies, and maybe get an insurance broker involved.
