If fuel economy is the deciding factor then probably the best one to go for is the Nissan X-Trail, with the 1.6-litre dCi diesel engine. That said, with your budget plus the Galaxy to trade-in, you might be able to look at getting a brand-new model, in which case have a look at the Peugeot 5008 1.2 PureTech petrol — a cracking car, and really frugal.
